Konar

Konar or Idaiyar or Tamil Yadavar is a Chandravanshi Kshatriya caste from the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
They are also known as Ayars.
Konars are distributed throughout the state of Tamil Nadu.
They are one of the ancient Tamil castes.
The Yadavas of Tamilnadu were originally referred as ‘AYARS’ in Tamil literature but locally called as ‘Idayans’.

Yadava Movement in Tamilnadu

The Yadavas of Tamilnadu were originally referred as ‘ARYAS’ in Tamil literature but locally called as ‘Idayans’. Even in the government records the community name was referred as ‘Idayans. Up to the Census 1921, the community name was noted as ‘Idayan’. The Tamil speaking Yadavas were referred as Idayans and the Telugu speaking Yadavas were referred as ‘Gollas’ and as Vaduga Aayars.

அகில இந்திய அளவில் ஒரு சில மாநிலங்களில் யாதவர்களுக்கு அரசியல் அதிகாரம் கிடைத்துள்ளது ஆனால் தமிழகத்திலே நிலமை வேறு விதமாக உள்ளது.தமிழக மக்கள் தொகையில் 14% என்று கணக்கிடபடுகிறது அப்படி இருக்க குறைந்த பட்சம் 30 சட்டமன்ற உறுப்பினர்கள் இருக்க வேண்டும் ஆனால் இன்று எத்தனை பேர் உள்ளனர்?

இந்தியா மக்கள் தொகையில் 20% மேல் யாதவர்கள் இருக்க இன்று வரை இந்தியாவில் எத்தனை யாதவர்கள பேர் பிரதமராகி உள்ளனர்?
