Coimbarore is an industrial city. Native Yadavas are also there. But the Yadavas of neighbouring districts have settled in Coimbatore in good numbers. They are having a separate organisatin called “Sri Krishna Yadava Seva Sangam” a registered body. It was registered in 1994. Shri Alagu Jayabalan, Proprietor of Alagu Pharmacy is the founder. Shri R. Kaderesan is the present president. They have already setup “Yadava Township” in Coimbatore with 100 plots and it is a great achievement. Shri Singa Iyalarasu is the editor in chief for the news bulletin “Yadava Murasu” releasing by this sangam.

A special mention has to be made about a Tamilnadu village – Perumalthevanpaty of Virudhunagar district. This village is commonly referred as “Little Hariyana”. The village is inhibited by Yadavas where one in every yadava family is serving in Defence Forces.
